Ocean County Model Railroaders Celebrate 60 Years

The New Jersey Museum of Transportation hosted on September 8th and 9th, 2012 Railroader’s Weekend. This a short little recap of what went on. Model trains included multiple layouts from the Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders. If you couldn’t attend this year, we hope to see you next year.

Stafford Police Make Heroin Arrest at Medical Center

Stafford–On the evening of Thursday September 27, 2012, Officer Robert Mullin arrested Christine Roth at Southern Ocean Medical Center after she was found to be in possession of a substance believed to be heroin.  She was charged with Possession of CDS and released pending a future court date in Stafford Township Municipal Court.

August Army Suicide Data Shows Increase in 2012

Sailor Killed in Accident in Afghanistan

The Department of Defense announced the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. Gunners Mate 2nd Class Dion R. Roberts, 25, of North Chicago, Ill., died Sept. 22, as a result of a single vehicle accident in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.  He was assigned to an East Coast Naval Special Warfare Unit.
