Red Bank Catholic Wins 2013 Girls Swimming Shore Conference Tournament

TOMS RIVER–On Saturday, Red Bank Catholic claimed their 8th consecutive  Shore Conference Tournament championship at the Ocean County YMCA.

One of the highlights for the Ocean County schools was the Toms River North relay teams placing in all three of their events.

The Mariners finished second to Manasquan in the 200 yard medley relay.  Katie Kilfeather, Morgan Runk, Alyssa Colasurdo and Allison Baker finished just five tenths of a second behind Mansquan’s 1:53.19 finish.  North finished third in the 200 yard freestyle relay with Runk, Amanda Burke, Hannah Leskow and Sara Beers.    They also finished third in the 400 yard freestyle relay with Baker, Beers, Burke and Colasurdo.

Leeanna Cass of Lacey placed third in the 200 yard individual medley and third in the 100 yard backstroke.

Alyssa Colasurdo of Toms River North placed third in the 100 yard butterfly.

Alyson Baker of Toms River North placed third in the 500 yard freestyle.
