Jackson Police Investigating Robbery at Romeo’s Plaza

JACKSON–The Jackson Police Department is seeking persons with any information about a Robbery that took place last night at Romeo’s Plaza.

On Sunday February 10, 2013 at 11:34 pm, officers responded to the plaza on the report of a Robbery that had just occurred.  An employee who was closing the business for the evening reported that an unknown male suspect entered the restaurant and punched him multiple times before taking a deposit bag containing cash and receipts off a countertop and fleeing the area.

The suspect was identified as a black male, approximately 5’-09” and 170 pounds, wearing a black Nike sweatshirt with the hood pulled up over his head and dark colored jeans.

The incident is currently under investigation and anyone with any additional information is asked to contact Jackson Police Detective Robert Reiff at 732-928-1111.
