JACKSON–The following is a sample of incidents that Patrol Officers recently responded to or were involved with. This does not represent all of the calls for service that were responded to during this time period.
Saturday February 9:
- At 5:35 am, officers and emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle crash on Cassville Road near Reed Road. It was reported that there was an overturned vehicle with a male trapped inside with unknown injuries. It was determined that this was a one car crash at the scene and the driver was extricated and transported to Centra State Hospital for minor injuries.
- At 3:11 pm, officers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a motor vehicle crash on Bethel Church Road with a utility pole down. There were no reported injuries and both vehicles were towed from the scene. Bethel Church Road was closed for several hours while repairs were made to the utility pole.
- At 9:19 pm, officers responded to Westlake Mews on the report of a male walking up and down the hallways of the complex banging on doors. Officers made contact with a 32 year old male Lakewood resident who appeared to be intoxicated. During further investigation, an outstanding warrant out of Toms River was discovered for the subject. He was placed under arrest and turned over to the Toms River Police when he was unable to post bail.
