HS Girls Basketball: RBC Defeats Point Boro in SCT Final

WEST LONG BRANCH–A 21 point fourth quarter, 10 rebounds by Jess Macchi and 28 point game by Point Boro’s Kelly Hughes was not enough as the Panthers lost to Red Bank Catholic 50-45 in the Shore Conference Tournament final.
RBC defeated Point Boro 50-46. Alex Alfano scored 15, Mary Kate Caverly scored 12 and Grace Fallon scored 10 points for the Caseys.
Point Boro is seeded #1 in the NJSIAA Central Group 2 tournament and will have a first round bye.
