Ocean County Prosecutors Office: Seaside Heights Drug Arrest Has No Connection to Restaurant

SEASIDE HEIGHTS–Detectives from the Prosecutor’s Special Operations Group along with members of the Seaside Heights Police Department, on Monday, obtained and executed a search warrant for a residence located 121 Webster Avenue, Seaside Heights NJ as well as a storage trailer located on Hiering Avenue, Seaside Heights NJ.

As a result of the search warrants police seized approximately seven pounds of marijuana along with approximately $3000 dollars in cash. Police also seized drug paraphernalia as a result of the search warrant execution

Arrested was 30 year old Vincent Craparotta, of Seaside Heights.

Craparotta was identified today in local media reports  as the manager of Hemingway’s Cafe, a popular Seaside Heights venue.

Today, a spokesperson with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed with the Ocean Signal that the investigation and arrest of Craparotta was not connected to any activity at Hemingway’s Cafe.

The spokesperson also confirmed that no related activity was suspected within the restaurant.
