Manchester Police Department

MANCHESTER–Members on the Manchester Township Police, Patrol and Investigations Bureaus, are currently investigating several forced entry residential burglaries which have occurred in the Pine Lake Park section of the Township.

It is believed that the suspect(s) is using a pry tool to force entry though exterior doors of the residence, including sliding glass doors. The below composite sketch is of a possible suspect who was observed by a witness attempting to force entry to a sliding glass door.

The suspect, when observed, immediately fled the area. The burglaries are occurring in the daytime when the suspect(s) believes the homes are not occupied. Police are asking residents to remain vigilant and call the main police number (732)657-6111 if they observe any suspicious person(s) in the area.

If you have a home video surveillance system and observe any recorded suspicious activity, please report it to the police. If you believe you can identify the suspect in the composite sketch, please notify the police. As always, residents are urged to keep all of their doors and windows in their residence locked and remember to secure their vehicles as well.
