Police Blotter: Manchester Police Charge Man with Intent to Distribute

MANCHESTER–A two month long narcotics investigation conducted by the Manchester Township Police Division Investigations Bureau led to the execution of a court authorized search warrant on Monday February 25, 2013.  The investigation resulted in the arrest of James J. Kuhn for possession and distribution of marijuana/hashish and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Proceeds seized from the residence included a quantity of Marijuana/Hashish over one pound, scale and packaging items, and over $1,900.00 in cash.  The arrest of James J. Kuhn Jr. (age 20) took place at his home on Northampton Boulevard which is located in the Pine Lake Park section of Manchester Township.  James J. Kuhn Jr. was charged with; Possession of Marijuana/Hashish in a quantity of over one pound, possession of Marijuana/Hashish in a quantity of over one pound with the intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  James J. Kuhn Jr. was transported to Ocean County Jail in default of $75,000.00 bail.  Assisting with the search warrant execution was the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit and the Manchester Police Division Patrol Bureau.
