SEASIDE PARK-Earlier this year, Seaside Park Police confiscated approximately 25 cases and 12 kegs of Keystone Light beer seized from a teenage house pary on Farragut Avenue. Police were summoned to the home after disturbance calls from neighbors. When police arrived, according to Detective Chris Bonner, between forty and fifty people were seen standing outside the residence when police units arrived on scene.
“Officers entered the residence. They saw a large quantity of beer cans and alcoholic beverages along with marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia,” Detective Bonner said.
Police arrested 7 people that night and confiscated the beer. Today, the Police Department disposed of the beer that was confiscated.
While many party-eager teens reading this may cringe at the thought of destroying cases of perfectly good beer, many beer connoisseurs and adults over the age of 21 would argue that justice has truly been served today.
