TOMS RIVER NJ ONLINE
Toms River NJ Online was founded in March of 2011 after years of planning. It was created by lifelong Ocean County resident, Phil Stilton. It has been born out of the need for quality local media coverage as the national media and press industry comes and goes, much of what goes on in the town gets passed over. Our key to success is community inclusion. No stories are too small for Toms River NJ Online. Toms River NJ Online is a local, family owned business with three decades of roots in the community. We are not owned or operated, nor have any affiliation with any national media empires. We are grass roots, on the ground media. We’re not looking to plant seeds in thousands of communities across the nation. We are Toms River. And Jackson. Period. Toms River NJ Online is delivered in conjunction with Jackson NJ Online.
Jackson NJ Online was founded in early 2008 by Stilton Company, LLC, a global market leader in online media and marketing. With a long career in both print and online news media and new media development and marketing, Stilton Company launched Jackson NJ Online in 2008, following suit in very successful community based portal and news systes such as their popular NJ Family site, Go Kids NJ (launched 2004). Taking on the successful model of Go Kids NJ and other online communities developed by Stilton, we brought our technology and idea home to Jackson in 2008.
In just 3 years, Jackson NJ Online has grown from a simple community and government activism portal to a full fledged online community for the township of Jackson. Jackson NJ Online now averages 7,500 readers per day. We accomplish our goals by providing daily, important and relevant topics for Jackson area residents. From Jackson, NJ Online, JTOWN magazine was born in 2010. JTOWN is a monthly Jackson Township Family & Community Magazine that gives each and every resident, Jackson Township updates in full color each and every month, delivered to their mailbox.
